As the new parliamentary session kicks off, our Chairman Barry Sheerman, MP for Huddersfield, reiterates our call for the Government to update the MOT Test for efficiency testing of diesel particulate filters. This small step would have a massive impact on reducing air pollution.
Barry’s DPF Bill calls for the Government to update the MOT test to include an efficiency test for DPFs with an emission limit set at 250,000 particles per cm3.
