Prashant Kumar, Professor & Chair in Air Quality, University of Surrey, GCARE

Prashant Kumar is the Founding Director of the internationally-leading research centre Global Centre for Clean Air Research (GCARE) and the Co-Director of the newly formed pan-university Institute for Sustainability at the University of Surrey, UK. Recently, he joined as a trustee of Zero Carbon Guildford and founded the Guildford Living Lab, a platform for researchers, communities, and stakeholders to co-design air pollution solutions. He is actively researching the area of school children and their exposure, and his research informed the guidance document that has been published in around 22 languages to date.
